The next generation telecentre program. Based on past Telecentre experience in Sarawak and Sabah, a new telecentre concept and program has been derived for the 4 villages of the Orang Asli in Peninsular Malaysia. Our team has been putting up a new design for the ICT implementation. 

A pilot project on extending the Rural Telecentre coverage to nearby rural lodge houses via the implementation of long-range wireless relay stations. The project aims to bring the Telecentre services to the community's doorstep instead of getting them to come to the Telecentre. 

Replication of eBario Telecentre model to 4 other rural sites, namely Ba'Kelalan, Long Lamai, Buayan and Pulau Larapan. 

Establishing more self-sustainable wireless relay stations to link up 7 villages in Bario. The coverage distance is as far as 8km away. 

Design and developing power supply model for WiFi deployment at rural villages that is cost effective and self-sufficient. A research initiative aiming to zero the running cost at the end user for the deployment of WiFi hotspot at rural community premises. 

A project to implement community maintainable and cost-effective solar lighting systems for the rural community in Long Puah. The project proven solar energy can be cost-effective and lasting if its purposes have been taken into the design. 

In order to support rural tourism, one of the system developed is the Power self-sustain Wireless Info Kiosk. The kiosk can be implemented in the middle of the jungle or national park to serve additional information to visitors and also to collect on-site feedback. Powered entirely by solar energy and provide wireless coverage up to 3km radius.
