For Kampung Pasir Pandak

  • To lit the coastal area as a first step to assess the surrounding danger especially the areas where the local fishermen park their boats.

  • To study the behavior of crocodile appearance through camera surveillance

  • To create awareness and precaution thoroughly among local community

Kampung Pasir Pandak located between estuary of Sungai Santubong and Batang Salak, next to Santubong. Crocodile attack incidents have been happening in nearby villages. Crocodile sighting is new in this area and their behavior is unknown.

Community Needs

The coastal area and the beach along the kampung is not lit especially the areas where local fishermen parks their boats. Community needs thorough awareness and better understanding of crocodile's behaviors in order to minimize potential threats.
